Facade Project

The project to correct the window leaks has begun. The contractors started to remove the siding from some of the units. Attached are pictures of the windows after the siding was removed. The crew is removing the siding and applying water proof membrane to protect the walls from the weather temporarily since there's rain the the forecast for tonight. I will continue to follow the crew and record the progress.

  2. after talking to the work crew I think they will start working on removing the windows tomorrow if the weather is good. Yesterday they were removing the siding only and possibly continue that until the weather is good.

  4. Looks like no one worked at all today.Still no notice on doors for windows.Three days of rain coming at beginning of next week.I think this project is going to take longer than anticipated.

  5. I think you are right on the length of this project. If this is any indication of the progress just imagine what the roof project will be like. We better get ready and stock up on a tent, cover all your furniture with plastic and hope nothing comes through the ceiling.

  8. Both windows pulled out, fixed and put back today 8/17.Took about two hours per window.Workers were very professional and courteous.I had a lot of anxiety about how this would go but it went very smoothly. The work on the siding on porch is still going on.
